Wisconsin Residential Infiltration and Air Sealing: Thursday, February 20, 2025 | 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM CT

 

This 1 1/2-hour course reviews the building science and building code requirements as they pertain to proper air sealing of buildings and homes. It highlights the common areas of air leakage within a structure and how to mitigate or minimize that leakage, and touches on the lesser-known areas of concern.

Learning objectives:

  • Define air barrier
  • Describe and explain the difference between air barrier materials
  • Be able to identify potential areas of air leakage in a home
  • Understand the code criteria for air barriers and where they are required to be installed
  • Recognize the code requirements for air infiltration testing
