IECC 2015 Large Commercial Buildings – Mechanical systems
IECC 2015 Large Commercial Buildings – Mechanical systems: Wednesday, March 26, 2025 | 8:45 AM - 10:15 AM CT
Large commercial buildings are common in large urban areas, and while less common in suburban and rural areas, they have large per-building energy impacts. The discussion during this 1 1/2-hour program will prepare contractors, design professionals and code enforcement officials to ensure their work results in buildings with better-than-average energy use intensities.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the IECC 2015 / WI SPS 363 code requirements for commercial mechanical systems
- Understand the types and basic functions of common and complex HVAC systems
- Identify where ventilation and related equipment are required including economizers, demand-controlled ventilation, and energy recovery ventilation
- Understand fan power limitation calculations and how to determine if systems meet code limits
If requesting AIA credit, a corresponding ID number must be provided at registration.
