Energy Career Fair
Thursday, October 17, 2024 | Northeast Wisconsin Technical College | 2740 W Mason St., Green Bay, WI 54307 (Main Entrance, Student Center Building, Door #9)
We invite you and your students to join us and our partners this fall for an exploration of energy careers. The energy industry is experiencing rapid growth and there is a rising demand for people with expertise in energy-related fields. Sponsored by WPS, attendees can explore careers from electric power distribution to energy efficiency through a series of exciting hands-on demonstrations and stations. At our seven unique stations, students and educators will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with promising career paths and how they can shape the future. The stations will be offered concurrently for 25-minutes each to keep students engaged and interested throughout the day. We hope to see you there!
Space is limited, and spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Incredible, impactful, impressive. I’ve rarely attended an event with that many students from that many schools where there was total engagement from all involved. The teachers I talked to were all very glad for the opportunity.”
“I am a high school teacher, and in case you're not familiar, I'd like to take a minute to tell you about these students. Some of them are struggling to figure out what they'll do after school. They're nervous about the future. They want to see new things, but don't know where to find them. You showed them things they've never seen before.”
“It will be no surprise to me if the success of this event serves as a gold standard and leads to future and similar success for others.”
“What happened yesterday will quite literally change the lives of some of the students who attended, and you did that for them. When we talk about making a difference in the youth of today, you were the epitome of that.”
